Slow Motion

The concept of slow motion is a very important editorial skill we want to use to exaggerate and enhance a point of action to our audience. We have discovered that just making one particular action in a shot slow motion, leaving the other actions in fast/normal time, shows a stark contrast of fluidity and emphasises that particular movement. To achieve this effect we had to use the razor tool to splice and isolate the movement we want to slow down, the speed and duration tweak to mathematically set the time frame of the motion and the brightness and contrast tool to generally enhance the natural wash of the shot.
