Inspiration for Digipacks

Having studied and researched through a numerous amount of album artwork covers using the website www.coverhunt.com, Josh and I have established the themes and colours we want to create in our digipack. Relating to our video, we want to use a black, grey, white and red colour scheme. We intend to make the most important features in red colouring so they stand out the most from the rest of the cover. We want this connection and correlation between the video and digipack so they are given a sense of association and act as a package rather than two conflicting products. This way, in the real world our product would be easily identified to an audience for purchase. Rather than using still images from our video, we will hold another photoshoot with our prime performer so our audience are presented with new, exciting material rather than imagery they have previously seen on the video. However, these new images will still have strong correlation to our video, but just show a different angle/take on the narrative. We want to keep the digipack relatively simple, as it is the most minimal images that are most effective and stay in peoples minds.
